Nicole Amada Ichtertz studied Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design. She later studied fiber arts and trained as a Waldorf teacher in California. Her illustrations are inspired by nature, folklore, and the magical worlds children inhabit. Nicole’s first children’s book was a collaboration with 7-year-old Skylar Dharma Schmitt. Nicole currently lives, works, and plays in Missoula, Montana.
